Vancouver advises the Corporation of the City of North Vancouver in developing Lonsdale Square

Our Vancouver office is advising the Corporation of the City of North Vancouver in developing the master planned community, Lonsdale Square (previously known as the Harry Jerome Neighborhood Lands). The development is anticipated to encompass over 800,000 square feet of office, retail and residential use. Phase one of the development is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2020 and will comprise a seniors living building and residential rental building. The development plan involves the City granting a series of long term ground leases on a phase-by-phase basis, together with necessary subdivisions to accommodate the planned community.

We have helped the City structure the procurement of a preferred developer, develop a master plan community vision, subdivide the initial phase of development, and negotiate the leases and development agreements for phase one.  Lonsdale Square is a multi-million dollar development that will ultimately establish a core “high street”, civic plaza and community space at the heart of the North Shore community.
